fast fact: how many pairs of eyeglasses do patients own?

According to a recent survey by the Vision Council of America (VisionWatch Economic Situation Study) , patients own the following pairs of eyeglasses:

  • 1 pair.  68.0%
  • 2 pairs.  27.2%
  • 3 pairs.  3.7%
  • More than 3 pairs.  1.0%

In my opinion, the data supports adopting a 20% second pair selling work standard for your opticians.
