Having trouble finding ophthalmic assistants?

Well, you’re not alone, at least not according to a recent CNN poll.  In the poll physician assistants rated themselves as the 6th most secure job in the U.S.   The survey, which polled more than 35,000 workers across multiple industries, based its results on what percentage of employees in each field felt their job was totally secure.

Top 10 most secure jobs in America:

  1. Emergency Room Physician
  2. General Surgeon
  3. Marketing Manager
  4. Nurse Practicioner
  5. Software Development Director
  6. Physician Assistant
  7. Director of Communications
  8. Physical Therapist
  9. Speech-Language Pathologist
  10. Attorney
